Driver CPC Training Courses

European Directive 2003/59/EC has introduced new requirements for lorry and bus licence holders to undertake compulsory training to retain their ability to use their licence for work. The aim of the training is to keep professional drivers up to date with guidance and best practices in relation to their work.

Licence holders are required to undertake at least 35 hours of approved training in every 5 year period. The requirements come into force as follows:

Bus and coach drivers to undertake 35 hours training before September 2013

Lorry drivers to undertake 35 hours training before September 2014
